The Process

After an initial consultation, we come to share an early vision of the piece with the client - a process of collaboration which slowly builds into trust. This is the most important and exciting part of the commissioning process, the progression from rough sketches, CAD drawings and templates through timber selection and application of new techniques to finished artistic furniture.

Customer involvement is central to the process and begins with agreeing basic guidelines such as material, function and budget. Clients often come to us with a sketch, an idea or a simply an ambition and it’s our commitment to work with them to turn that concept into a unique piece of furniture.
